So. Toronto babes. How do we feel about this Spring weather?
Confusing af. Yes.
I’ve teamed up with West Coast Kinda Girl‘s Emma Rose to bring you guys a confusing spring style survival guide, basically.
Emma is a Vancouver-based style blogger and cutie pie who covers all things lifestyle, beauty and fashion. We teamed up for an East Coast vs. West Coast style breakdown on how we like to layer up and transition into Spring – no matter where you are.
Even though we live on opposite coasts, I get amazing inspo from Emma’s blog and find that our style is really similar. Make sure to check out westcoastkindagirl.com for part one of this series, and keep an eye out for the rest of our FOUR – part East Coast vs. West Coast collab within the next couple weeks!
Transitioning into Spring can be as confusing as that ice storm last week here in TO. So what do we do?
Move to LA.
But until then, here’s how I style an East Coast Spring…
1. Denim trousers are an awesome way to keep some length and stay warm, but still show a bit skin for Spring. Plus they’re super comfy and light. Pair them up with booties for class or a pair of heels for a night out. You seriously can’t go wrong (shop similar here)
2. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I practically live in my leather jacket. I’ve yet to find an outfit that doesn’t look good paired up this bad boy. I loooove layering any look/outfit with a leather jacket for an instant upgrade and warmth (shop similar here)
3. My absolute fave add-on of all time. Finding the perfect one was a bit of a mission but it was so worth it. The vintage western belt steps up any basic outfit and makes you look as if you know what you’re doing when you might not even have a clue… Yes please (available here)
4. The accessories - velvet choker (available here), marble watch (available here), and mirrored sunnies (available here)
I am so excited for you guys to see the rest of my collab with Emma!
Keep and eye out for the next part of our East Coast vs. West Coast Spring series within the next couple weeks, and make sure to check out both our Instagrams (@beautyrewritten / @emmaleger ) to know when it’s up!
